RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Last updated: 14 September 2026

At Fluntstan, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Return & Refund Policy explains your rights and our procedures for cancellations, returns, refunds, exchanges, faulty goods and damaged or incorrect orders.

This policy applies to purchases made through Fluntstan.store.

Nothing in this policy affects or limits your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law.

1. YOUR STATUTORY RIGHT TO CANCEL

If you are a consumer purchasing online, you generally have the legal right to cancel your order without giving a reason under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

For most goods, your cancellation period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a person nominated by you, receives the goods.

Where an order contains multiple goods delivered separately, the cancellation period will generally begin once the last item covered by the order has been received.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must clearly inform us of your decision before the cancellation period expires.

You can do this by emailing:

help@Fluntstan.store

Please include:

  • Your full name;

  • Order number;

  • Email address used for the order;

  • The item or items you wish to return; and

  • A clear statement that you wish to cancel or return the order.

You do not need to provide a reason for exercising your statutory cancellation right.

2. RETURNING GOODS AFTER CANCELLATION

After informing us that you wish to cancel, you must send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of your cancellation.

Please contact us before returning any item. We will provide the appropriate return instructions and return address.

Items sent to an address without following our return instructions may experience delays in processing.

3. CONDITION OF RETURNED GOODS

You may inspect and handle products only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, in the same way that you would normally be allowed to examine them in a physical shop.

For clothing, this generally means that you may try an item on but should not wear it for extended periods, wash it, alter it, stain it, damage it or otherwise use it beyond what is necessary to determine whether it is suitable.

Where handling goes beyond what is reasonably necessary and causes a reduction in the value of the goods, we may be legally entitled to make an appropriate deduction from the refund to reflect that reduction in value.

Where possible, please return items with their original:

  • Tags;

  • Labels;

  • Packaging;

  • Accessories; and

  • Documentation.

The absence of original packaging does not automatically remove your statutory rights.

4. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS

For a change-of-mind return made under your statutory cancellation rights, you may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods to us, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise.

We strongly recommend using a tracked postal service and retaining proof of postage until your return has been completed.

If an item is:

  • Faulty;

  • Damaged when delivered;

  • Incorrect;

  • Not as described; or

  • Otherwise not in conformity with your statutory rights,

Fluntstan will not require you to bear reasonable return costs where the law requires those costs to be borne by the retailer.

Please contact help@Fluntstan.store before returning faulty or incorrect goods.

5. REFUNDS FOR CANCELLED ORDERS

Where you validly exercise your statutory right to cancel, we will refund payments due to you in accordance with UK consumer law.

This will normally include:

  • The purchase price of the returned goods; and

  • The cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered by us for the original order.

If you selected a more expensive delivery method, such as an express or premium service, we are not required to refund the additional amount above the cost of our standard delivery option.

We may withhold the refund until:

  • We receive the goods back; or

  • You provide evidence that you have sent the goods back,

whichever occurs first where applicable under the law.

Refunds will normally be issued no later than 14 days after the applicable refund obligation is triggered.

6. REFUND METHOD

Unless otherwise agreed, refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction.

You will not be charged a fee by Fluntstan simply for receiving a legally required refund.

Once we issue a refund, your bank, card provider or payment service may require additional processing time before the funds appear in your account. Processing times imposed by payment providers are outside Fluntstan's direct control.

7. FAULTY, DAMAGED OR NOT-AS-DESCRIBED GOODS

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods supplied by Fluntstan must be:

  • Of satisfactory quality;

  • Fit for their intended or agreed purpose; and

  • As described.

If goods do not meet these requirements, you may have statutory rights to a:

  • Refund;

  • Repair;

  • Replacement;

  • Price reduction; or

  • Final rejection of the goods,

depending on the circumstances and when the problem is reported.

8. 30-DAY SHORT-TERM RIGHT TO REJECT FAULTY GOODS

Where goods are faulty or otherwise fail to conform to the contract, consumers will generally have a 30-day short-term right to reject qualifying goods and request a refund, subject to the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the circumstances of the purchase.

This statutory right is separate from the 14-day cancellation right for distance purchases.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you believe an item is faulty.

9. FAULTS DISCOVERED AFTER 30 DAYS

If a fault is discovered after the initial short-term right to reject has expired, you may have the right to request a repair or replacement.

Where repair or replacement is:

  • Impossible;

  • Unsuccessful;

  • Not completed within a reasonable time; or

  • Causes significant inconvenience,

you may, depending on the circumstances, have the right to a price reduction or to reject the goods and receive an appropriate refund.

10. FAULTS ARISING WITHIN SIX MONTHS

Where a fault becomes apparent within the first six months following delivery, UK consumer law generally provides additional protection regarding whether the fault is treated as having existed when the goods were supplied, subject to the applicable legal exceptions.

After six months, a consumer may be required to demonstrate that the fault existed when the goods were supplied.

These rules do not mean that every product is guaranteed to last for six years, five years or any other particular period.

11. DAMAGED ORDERS

If your parcel or product arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at:

help@Fluntstan.store

Please provide, where available:

  • Your order number;

  • A description of the problem;

  • Clear photographs of the item;

  • Photographs of the packaging; and

  • Any relevant delivery information.

These requests are intended to help us investigate and resolve the issue and do not remove any statutory rights you may have.

12. INCORRECT ITEMS

If you receive an item different from the one you ordered, please contact us at:

help@Fluntstan.store

We will provide appropriate instructions and, where required, arrange a replacement or refund without requiring you to bear reasonable costs resulting from our error.

13. ITEMS LOST IN TRANSIT

The risk in goods generally remains with the retailer until the goods come into the physical possession of the consumer or a person identified by the consumer to receive them, subject to applicable legal exceptions.

If you believe your parcel has been lost before delivery, contact:

help@Fluntstan.store

We will investigate the delivery with the relevant carrier.

14. EXCHANGES

If you would like a different size, colour or product, please contact us to determine whether an exchange is available.

Exchange availability depends on stock.

Your statutory cancellation and consumer rights remain unaffected if an exchange is unavailable.

15. SALE AND DISCOUNTED ITEMS

Items purchased during a sale, promotion or with a discount remain protected by UK statutory consumer rights.

We will not exclude your legal rights merely because an item was purchased at a reduced price.

If an item was expressly reduced because of a specific defect that was clearly disclosed to you before purchase, you may not be entitled to rely on that particular disclosed defect as a reason for claiming that the item was not satisfactory.

Other statutory rights remain unaffected.

16. EXCEPTIONS TO THE RIGHT TO CANCEL

Certain goods may be exempt from the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right where permitted by law.

Examples may include:

  • Goods made to the customer's specifications;

  • Clearly personalised goods;

  • Certain sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed;

  • Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly; and

  • Other products specifically excluded by applicable UK law.

An exemption from the change-of-mind cancellation right does not remove a consumer's rights where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet statutory requirements.

17. PERSONALISED OR CUSTOM-MADE PRODUCTS

Products manufactured, embroidered, engraved, altered or otherwise personalised specifically to your instructions may not qualify for the standard statutory change-of-mind cancellation right.

However, if a personalised item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly produced or does not match the agreed description, your statutory rights remain available.

18. HYGIENE-SEALED PRODUCTS

Where a product is sealed for genuine health protection or hygiene reasons and is unsuitable for return once the seal has been broken, the statutory cancellation right may cease once that seal has been removed.

This exception will only be applied where legally permitted.

Faulty goods remain subject to statutory consumer protections.

19. REFUSING A RETURN

We will not refuse a return where doing so would unlawfully restrict your statutory rights.

A non-faulty return may, however, fall outside a voluntary or statutory return right where, for example:

  • The applicable cancellation period has expired;

  • A statutory exemption applies; or

  • The product has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary and its value has been reduced.

Any decision will be made subject to applicable UK consumer law.

20. ORDER CANCELLATION BEFORE DISPATCH

If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, contact us as soon as possible at:

help@Fluntstan.store

Where cancellation is possible, we will cancel the order and issue any refund due.

If the order has already been dispatched, you may need to follow the return procedure described in this policy.

21. REFUNDS WHERE DELIVERY IS REFUSED OR UNCOLLECTED

Refusing delivery or failing to collect a parcel does not necessarily constitute a valid notification that you are exercising your statutory right to cancel.

To avoid delays, please notify us directly at help@Fluntstan.store if you wish to cancel an order.

Any refund will be processed subject to applicable law and after the relevant circumstances of the return have been established.

22. PROOF OF PURCHASE

We may reasonably request proof that the product was purchased from Fluntstan.

Examples may include:

  • Order confirmation;

  • Order number;

  • Email receipt;

  • Payment record; or

  • Other reasonable evidence of purchase.

23. LEGAL CLAIM PERIODS

Consumers may retain legal rights in relation to defective goods beyond the immediate refund or repair periods described above.

Depending on the applicable jurisdiction and circumstances, legal claims concerning purchased goods may generally be brought for up to:

  • Six years in England, Wales and Northern Ireland; or

  • Five years in Scotland.

These limitation periods are not the same as a product warranty and do not mean that every product is expected or guaranteed to last for that entire period.

24. YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or reduce any mandatory rights available to consumers.

Relevant legislation includes, where applicable:

  • Consumer Rights Act 2015;

  • Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013;

  • Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024;

  • Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002; and

  • Other applicable UK consumer protection legislation.

Where any provision of this policy conflicts with a mandatory statutory consumer right, the statutory right will prevail.

25. FAIR COMMERCIAL PRACTICES

Fluntstan aims to provide clear and accurate information about returns, refunds, products and consumer rights.

We will not knowingly use this policy to mislead customers about statutory rights or to impose terms that unlawfully remove those rights.
